Lazy Afternoon...

There is no place more comfy than the back of the sofa on a wet, grey, chilly afternoon. :)...just had to share these...

neglectful ....

SO busy!!!! Poor little blog, I have neglected and missed you.....lots more new works to follow soon, meantime here is a montage of some previous pieces for your enjoyment :)

off topic...

Yeh off topic I know, not at all art related today, but there is nothing like a pampering at the hairdressers to make you feel good,so I'm gonna show off and share, the hell with it-it's been SO long I don't even remember the last time I got a shearing,so feeling revived today! :)

Alice In Wonderland Movie.....

Go see it! Pretty much all I've got to say-it's a beautiful mixture of the 'Wonderland and 'Looking Glass' story characters and a little step on...I better not say any more, except that we went this evening and were thrilled at the beauty, magic and that special dark quirkiness Tim Burton brings to a movie. Heck, I'm no expert, bit I don't really understand some of the criticisms I have read, it's a fantasy adventure and a stunning ride, just enjoy it! I'd go again without hesitation! :)

Open for Business!

My darling daughter re-vamped my studio 'open' sign this week ( and was actually impressively well controlled in her handling of the glue gun I must say!) Looking gorgeously inviting with shells and pebbles added and guaranteed to bring in tons of visitors over Easter I am sure!

Fairy on a Swing....

A work in progress....this will be a large painting and may take a while, but here is the first outline drawing in charcoal-more to follow!
